If St. Augustine had a trophy room, it would be a pretty full one. Prettiest town in America (Forbes), Top Ten Holiday Light Displays in the World (National Geographic), Most Walkable Town in America (AAA)—it seems as if every month another glowing accolade is added to the list.
So what’s the best way to enjoy all the wonderful parts of St. Augustine? By walking through its ancient streets! It’s what we enjoy the most about our town, and it’s what we recommend all of our guests do to familiarize themselves with the area.
The best thing about our walking tours is that there’s something for everyone. Love the beach? History? Art? We’ve got a walk for you! Check out all these FREE options:
Art Walks. On the First Friday of every month, St. Augustine galleries throw open the doors and throw a city-wide celebration of the talented artists from Florida and beyond. First Friday Art Walks are a favorite among St. Augustine locals and visitors alike. More than 20 galleries feature the latest exhibits from 5 – 9 pm. In addition to the artists’ works, the evening is highlighted by live music, drinks, and yummy appetizers. Maps are available to show all the galleries in town. www.augustine.com/event/first-friday-art-walk
