How did Kristina and Tobias choose Bayfront Marin House for their wedding?
Kristina and Tobias actually discovered us by chance! They were walking by during another elopement in St. Augustine and immediately fell in love. They thought the waterfront location and historic district charm was the perfect setting for a romantic St. Augustine wedding and an ideal backdrop for photos.
Can you describe the theme and style of their wedding?
- Wedding Theme: Very romantic and traditional.
- Decor: Gorgeous pink and white roses adorned the space, perfectly complementing Kristina’s stunning gown and their elegant two-tier white cake.
- Setting: The couple’s vision came to life in our Victorian gazebo, decorated with white sheers and bows, and subtle touches of greenery to reflect the lovely outdoor venue.
What were some memorable moments from the ceremony?
Kristina and Tobias honored their mothers with bouquets of white hydrangeas, a tender moment that perfectly captured the love of the day.
But, their bubble send-off was just as magical. Guests surrounded them with floating bubbles, and the groom’s grandmother stole the show with her bubble gun, creating a great picture-perfect moment.
How did the couple personalize their reception?
Kristina and Tobias skipped a traditional reception and kept it light and intimate with small bites. Our kitchen prepared a charcuterie board and fruit tower that guests admired and enjoyed while the couple took photos.
What advice do you have for future couples planning their wedding?
Book your vendors early! St. Augustine is a popular wedding destination, and the best florists, photographers, and bakers fill up fast.
