There is nothing like seeing a musician in a small venue.
Francis Dunnery, an English musician, singer/songwriter, record producer and record label owner, will be performing a house concert in our dining room on June 23 at 7:30. Tickets are $30 for the general public, and $20 for guests of the inn.
If you had a chance to see him last year (he played here in April of 2012), you know that his “performance” includes more than music…there are funny stories about rock and roll legends; jokes about politics and current events; sad stories of past hairdos; and maybe even a quick horoscope reading.
Dunnery served as a sideman and musical contributor for artists as diverse as Robert Plant, Ian Brown, Lauryn Hill, Santana and Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe. He has worked as a producer and/or collaborator with David Sancious, Chris Difford of Squeeze, and James Sonefield of Hootie and the Blowfish.
