Inn Plans Holiday Activities and Amenities in St. Augustine

The Bayfront Marin House in St. Augustine, Florida is greeting the holiday season with tradition and innovation in 2023.

“It’s the 30th year of Nights of Lights, which is one of our favorite times of the year,” says Sandy Wieber, owner of the award-winning inn. “We string several thousand white lights throughout the property. It really highlights the unique architecture of our historic bed and breakfast.”

But, as they say, that’s not all!

This year, the inn is offering two special holiday amenities to guests to compliment the many holiday activities available in the city.

Deck the Halls Holiday Package.

In addition to the millions of lights outside, guests can also enjoy some Christmas cheer in their private suite. The package includes a decorated and lit tabletop tree in their room to enjoy during their stay. Guests will also receive two sweet treats, a sprig of romantic mistletoe, and 2 cups of the Marin’s special recipe cocoa. The Deck the Halls Holiday Package is available through January 12, 2024.

Complimentary Midweek Trolley Rides.

Bayfront Marin House has partnered with St. Augustine’s Old Town Trolley Tour Company to offer complimentary Nights of Lights trolley tours. Guests who stay two or more weekdays (Sunday-Thursday) will receive two VIP trolley tour tickets. Tickets allow the guests to go to the front of the line, and ride this popular holiday trolley for free.

New Rooms.

The inn also announced the availability of two new rooms perfect for winter getaways. The Charlotte Street Hacienda features a king-sized bed, full kitchen, and a unique double-sided coquina fireplace. The Casita de Aviles is a two-room suite with a queen-sized bed. The separate, large sitting area has a full-sized pull-out sofa for extra guests. The Casita also boasts a kitchenette area and—coming in Spring 2024—a private plunge pool.

“There is always a lot going on in St. Augustine,” says Wieber. “We love coming up with new amenities here at the inn so that our frequent guests can always experience something new.”
