Florida’s scenic A1A is not just a great Sunday drive, looking out over the dunes and ocean up and down the coast. It’s also a great place to stop for a relaxing and refreshing drink.
We’re not talking about any drink, but one made with fresh Florida orange juice or grapefruit juice, mixed with spirits from the St. Augustine distillery, and sprinkled with a range of other yummy, local flavors. We’re talking about a carefully crafted cocktail mixed with a little bit of magic, and a little bit of Old Florida.
AND we’re talking about free stuff that will show off your love of locally crafted cocktails! Namely, a free collectible A1A Cocktail Trail t-shirt and a branded, wooden coaster set.
How do you get it? Stop at a Florida Welcome Center (the St. Augustine Welcome Center will work), and pick up a passport book showing the eight participating restaurant locations, stretching from Atlantic Beach to the north and historic St. Augustine to the south. Get the passport book stamped at each bar, and bring the completed passport to the St. Augustine Distillery for your free coasters and tee.
Participating bars and restaurants just happen to be some of our favorites, such as:
- North Beach Fish Camp, Neptune Beach, FL
- Ragtime Tavern Seafood & Grill, Atlantic Beach, FL
- Hoptinger, Jacksonville Beach, FL
- Cap’s on the Water, Vilano Beach, FL
- The Reef, Vilano Beach, FL
- Odd Birds, St. Augustine, FL
- The Floridian, St. Augustine, FL
- A1A Aleworks, St. Augustine, FL
We don’t want you to get all eight stamps in one day, so plan a longer trip to St. Augustine, get your passport, and start collecting stamps on your travels! Stay with us at our St. Augustine bed and breakfast and split the trip across a few days – you’ll be rested up so you can really enjoy this little adventure!
The A1A Cocktail Trail is sponsored by the Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC), St. Augustine Distillery and the St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitors and Convention Bureau (VCB).
