We believe in spoiling our guests with one of the top rated Southern style breakfasts in the area and a Happy Hour every evening. And that is not all, on Wednesdays in July, August and September, you can enjoy the breeze off the bay along with Mike’s unbelievable homemade ice cream. Savor his unusual flavor combinations: banana Oreo, coffee toffee caramel crunch, Kahlua mocha chocolate cherry chip.

Hot Southern Breakfast Daily
You don’t have to speak with a twang to love our hot, southern breakfasts.
Our head cook Mary has been with us since the Bayfront Marin House opened in 2003. She grew up in restaurants from North Carolina to Florida, and those years of experience (plus a heart full of love) definitely show with every meal she creates.
What to Expect
We offer a different hot entrée each morning—examples include our famous French toast (seriously—Google it!), banana pancakes, bacon stratas, caprese eggs Benedict, country casseroles, blueberry waffles, and more. Alternatively, you can choose our light start breakfast, which includes smooth Greek yogurt, honey, walnuts, and a ring of freshly cut fruit.
Of course, each morning you can add as many “extras” as you would like—including our homemade muffins (ask what varieties we have each day), fresh fruit salads, cereals, oatmeal, locally made bagels, croissants, etc).
All breakfasts come with your choice of drinks—coffee, of course, freshly squeezed orange juice, grapefruit juice, or milk.
Optional - Room Service
You can choose the time you’d like to eat – any time from 8:00 to 10:00 – as well as the location you’d enjoy: our cozy dining room, breezy patio, or elegant gazebo. For an additional charge, you can also enjoy a romantic breakfast in your room, or on our picturesque second story deck.
By the time you leave, you’ll be begging Mary to come home with you!
Enjoy our Happy (2) Hours
There’s no better place to unwind on vacation than our Happy Hour, served every day from 5:00 – 7:00 (so technically, it’s two hours—which makes it even happier!)
Cool off with our homemade sangrias – red, white, or mix them together for a festive pink—because there are no rules on vacation. Or enjoy an ice cold imported or domestic beer or pick from a wide selection of wines.
Appetizers change daily, and include seasonal favorites such as:
- Curry chicken pastry puffs
- Homemade guacamole and fresh salsa
- Jalapeno pepper poppers, stuffed with chicken sausage
- Bruschetta with balsamic reduction
- Stuffed mushrooms (Mike’s Grandmother’s recipe)
- Layered shrimp dip
- Sweet potato and ground beef samosas
- Bloody Mary shrimp soup
- Chipotle chicken corn chowder
- Southern deviled eggs

- Veggie roll ups
- Reuben pastry cups

We also feature delectable treats each night – all baked on site by our evening innkeepers.
